Robberies on rise in Quetta

QUETTA: Traders were deprived of millions of rupees in three different robbery cases at Kuchlak Road, a suburb area of Quetta.

According to detail, on night between Monday and Tuesday, some dacoits broke into a poultry farm and snatched Rs1.5mn from the owner and fled.

In another crime, some armed dacoits snatched Rs0.15mn rupees from the owner of a petrol pump at Kuchlak Road. However in third incident, robbers broke the locks of a shop and stole items.

No arrest was made, said the police.

It is pertinent to mention that a day before robbers had looted more than 83 shops at Pushtoonabad.
