Karachi: President, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi (MAJU) Prof. Dr. Zubair Shaikh said that MAJU is emerging a fast growing university in the region which also has been admitted by Higher Education Commission, (HEC) Pakistan Council of Science and Technology, Sindh Higher Education Commission, Computing Society, ACCA and Charter Inspection Committee of Government of Sindh.
He was addressing to students and their parents at scholarships distribution ceremony at university auditorium.
The scholarships to the students of BBA, BS, MBA, MS, MCS and Ph D were awarded on the basis of obtaining highest CGPA during examinations.
Dr. Zubair Shaikh said that expansion in university premises is under way and we are planning to launch new degree programs of BS-Media Science, BE-Civil Engineering, D Pharmacy and BS-Biotechnology next year.
He said that at present we have above 20 Ph D scholars in our faculty and 10 to 15 more will be join this year.
