Sepco launches massive crackdown against illegal connections

NAUNDERO: Sepco Larkana launched a crackdown against power thieves and defaulters in Naundero on Wednesday, disconnecting 200 illegal connections in various localities..

The crackdown was led by Executive Engineer (Rural), Sepco Larkana, Mushtaque Burdi. The Sepco teams also confiscated removed wires. The team included SDO Naundero Sub-Division Sajad Memon, Intezar Hisbani, and Line Superintendent Amanullah Brohi. They took action on Allah Waro Chowk, UBL Chowk, Sugar Mill Road area, Jug Chowk, Bypass area, Bharchood village, Pir Jo Goth and other Mohallas.

SDO Sajad Memon told reporters that millions of rupees were outstanding against the consumers of Naundero which were to be recovered from the defaulters without naming anyone. He said that several notices were sent to them previously but they were not prepared to clear the government dues. He said on the strict directions of Superintending Engineer Maula Dad Niazi , the operation was conducted under the supervision of XEN Mushtaque Burdi which will continue.
