SHC dispose of three pleas of missing persons as it gets clues

KARACHI:Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday dispose of three pleas of missing persons as the court was informed by the police about three missing persons’ whereabouts.

A two-member bench of the SHC, headed by Justice Naimtullah Phulputo, heard three pleas seeking recovery of missing persons. The police submitted the report before the bench which said those three missing person are, Oan, a bank employer, who appeared before bench after he returned home; Ghulam Ali, who’s arrest was shown by the police and another missing man, Saeed Ahmed, who was killed in Mochko area, but the police informed the court that culprits had been arrested. Three of missing men were clueless since past several months.

The bench remarked: “We tried our best on daily basis that missing citizens return their home.” However, the bench sought a report from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh and Director General Rangers on other pleas of missing persons until 22 August.

Earlier, the police had submitted reports pertaining to the recovery of 20 missing person. The families of missing persons have been following the proceedings for many years as a result, a number of missing persons have recovered.
