KARACHI:Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday extended pre-arrest bail to former provincial minister Awais Shah and the family members of former opposition leader in National Assembly Sayed Khurhseed Ahmed Shah till 16 January.
A two-member bench of the SHC heard the pre-arrest bail plea filed by Awais and Khursheed Shah’s family, including his two wives, sons and a son-in-law, in the case.
During the hearing, a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor informed the bench that an inquiry was being continued against the accused persons. He told the court that more time was required for completing the probe into the case, which might be granted.
The bench ordered the NAB prosecutor to complete the probe till 16th January and extended the bail to accused persons.
