KARACHI:Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday declared ‘’null and void’’ the appointment of Vice Chancellor (VC) of Tando Jam Agricultural University Dr Mujeebuddin Memon.
A SHC bench heard the petition filed by Riasat Ali against the appointment of Memon. The bench observed VC does not have the required educational skills for the post.
The bench remarked Dr Mujeebuddin Memon is a chemical engineer, while university in an agricultural varsity.
The petitioner stated that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah had appointed Dr Mujeeb without approval of the cabinet.
