Ghotki:Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Sindh president Haleem Adil Sheikh has alleged that the rulers of Sindh have been influencing the by-polls in Ghotki, and not only PPP but the government of Sindh along with its cabinet is contesting elections against the independent candidate Ahmed Ali Mahar.
Addressing a press conference at the residence of Rais Ali Gohar Naich at Mirpur Mathelo, flanked by PTI MNA Jay Pirkash Ukrani, MPA Raja Azhar, MPA Dua Bhutto, Raheela Shar and others, he said the rally of Bilawal Zardari proved that this election is not only between the PPP and Ali Ahmed Mahar but also between the government of Sindh and him. He said for many days the PPP leaders have set up their camp at Sukkur. He said when our Prime Minister visits Ghotki a show-cause notice is issued to him. He claimed that the chief minister of Sindh is holding a camp with police of nine districts to influence the by-polls. He said police security, government vehicles and protocol is being enjoyed Muhammad Bux Mahar. He said the PPP ministers have tendered resignations just to befool people.
Haleem Adil charged that deputy commissioner of Ghotki is playing the role of personal servant of the PPP. He said forest department is the most corrupt department of Sindh, which has illegally allotted 78000 acres of forestlands to PPP leaders and workers. He said we will retrieve these occupied forestlands from the PPP cadres. He said Nasir Shah has already given a statement on the floor of Sindh assembly that 78000 acres of forestlands are allotted illegally in Sindh. He said action should be taken on the basis of this confession.
He said we apprehend bloody riots during the by-polls as the ruling party people are gathering weapons and arms. He said one of our voters, Ali Murad Mahar, is threatened that after July 23, he and his petrol pump would not be there. He said our Murad would be here, but the government of Murad Ali Shah is a goner. He said Bilawal visited FATA, but the PPP could not win even a single seat from there. He said the FATA people rejected the PPP and preferred peace and stability.
He said Nisar Khuhro is not happy with the presence of army inside polling stations. He asked if Nisar Khuhro really wants to rig the polls by fake stamping. He alleged that Saifullah Dharejo has done record corruption in irrigation department. He said we will ensure full recovery of all looted money.
However, PTI MNA Jay Pirkash claimed that the PPP has virtually harassed the Hindu community of Ghotki. He said we will ensure safety of every voter so that they can cast their vote as per their free will. He said the minority community has already announced to support the independent candidate Ahmed Ali Mahar. He said PPP government during last 11 years has ruined whole Sindh. He said Sindh is rich in oil resources, but no one knows where the oil royalty goes. He said there is huge corruption in this sector. He said roads in oil and gas areas are broken and potholed.
