Sindh varsity students boycott classes against corruption

DADU:University of Sindh’s Dadu campus students boycotted classes here on Wednesday against lack of facilities and alleged corruption in the university.

The students of Information Technology, Arts and English Departments, led by Sarang and Sheraz, boycotted the classes against non-provision of facilities and alleged corruption in the university.

The protesters raised slogans against the university administration for not providing required facilities to them for better education. They alleged that the university administration was involved in embezzling funds allocated for the students facilities. They said that students were facing immense problems due to non-restoration of park, non-installation of fans in class rooms and other problems.

They appealed to Sindh Governor Imran Ismael, National Accountability Bureau chief and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to take notice of the issue and help them for provision of required facilities and end corruption in the university, which had snatched their rights.

They also demanded action against the corruption officials and return of the embezzled money so that early provision of facilities to the students could be provided for better education system.
