Karachi:Ahmed Baig extended his lead on the second day of Jubilee General 21st Sindh Open Golf Championship 2019 scoring an impressive six under par here Saturday at Arabian Sea Country Club.
Ahmed shot impressive six under par on a cloudy and windy day during the second round. He recorded seven birdies and had a two-day cumulative of 11 under par. He jointly held top position on the first day with defending champion Matloob Ahmed with five under par. But with another impressive show, he now alone holds the top position.
Matloob dropped to second spot on the table with a score of two under par in the second round. He has a two-day cumulative seven under par.
Five times champion of Sindh Open, Shabbir Iqbal who had finished second on Day 1 now sits at third position with one under par. Adil Jahangir, who occupied second spot on Day 1 lost his rhythm and is positioned at number 10, with a score of one under.
Shahid Javed Khan came at fourth place with five under par from first day’s seventh position. Top ranking Muhammad Munir gained rhythm on the second day and bounced ten positions to 20th from first day’s dismal 30th position.
