Sports: Swimming: National Boys Swimming C’ships begin today in Peshawar

Karachi: Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF) and Pakistan Women’s Swimming Association (PSWA) will be organizing several national championships in the month of October and November later this year including 23rd National Boys Swimming Championships from today (Friday) in Peshawar.

Swimmers of three different age category, namely 12 and under, 14 and under and 16 and under will be seen in action in the tournament, which will conclude on October 7.

Meanwhile, PSWA will be organizing 18th National Girls-Age Group Swimming Championships on October 13 and 14 October in Islamabad where swimmers can compete in 12 and under, 14 and under and 16 and under events.

All Pakistan MacDonald Inter School Swimming Championship will also be held on October 13 and 14 in Lahore where swimmers of age categories 8 and under, 10 and under 12 and under, 14 and under and 16 and under will compete.

Meanwhile, National Men’s and Women’s Open Swimming Championship will be held from November 2 to 4 in Lahore, which will also serve as national open trails for South Asian Games 2019.

All affiliated member units of the PSF and PSWA will be competing for top honors in these annual events.
