KARACHI:Three suspected robbers were injured in an alleged encounter in Landhi area of the metropolis on Friday.
According to police, three criminals were snatching motorcycles and valuables from people near Landhi star ground around 4:00am, when a patrolling police team reached the scene and challenged the criminals. As a result, shootout occurred between the two sides in which three suspects, Arif, aged 30, Zahid 32 and Saeed 36, sustained bullet injuries in their legs.
Police arrested three of them in injured condition. Police also claimed to have recovered two TT-pistols, a snatched bike and other valuables from their possession. The arrested injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
