KARACHI:At least two people were killed and three others sustained injuries when a passenger coach overturned on Karachi’s Superhighway on Wednesday.
The ill-fated bus was on its way to Karachi from Shikarpur when it met the accident near Kathor More of the super highway, killing two persons on the spot, while injuring three others.
The deceased were identified as Altaf, aged 35 and Hidayatullah, 45.
According to eye-witnesses, the accident occurred due to over speeding. It further stated that the passenger bus overturned and also crashed into the side footpath.
The bodies and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for autopsies and treatment, respectively.
