Two PTI workers gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI:Two workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were killed in armed attacks in different areas of the metropolitan on late Thursday night. According to details, a 48-year-old Shafqat, son of Sahebzada, was gunned down near Rehmat Chowk in Orangi Town at 11:30pm while a 32-year-old Abdul Rehman, son of Qadir, was shot dead by unknown armed men in Bawani Chali neighbourhood of Site area around 12:30pm.

The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Sindh took a notice of the incidents and directed Deputy Inspector General (DIG) East to submit a detailed inquiry report in this regard.

While talking to media outside Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, PTI Karachi President Khurram Sher Zaman demanded DG Rangers Sindh to take notice of the incidents. He expressed fear that security situation will be deteriorated if solid measures were not taken immediately.
