SHIKARPUR:Two persons were gunned down by their rival group within the jurisdiction of Gaheja police station on Friday.
According to a report, after some silence in tribal clash between two rival groups of Brohi and Kakepotta, the two persons belonging to Brohi tribes were shot dead by Kakepotta community persons on Ishaque Dero link road near Gaheja Shaakh when they were on their way towards Gaheja on a motorcycle.
Those killed were identified as Ghulam Qadir Brohi and police constable Imam Ali Brohi. The assailants managed to flee after swift operation.
Gaheja police shifted the bodies to a Madeji Hospital and later handed over to their heirs after completing necessary medico-legal formalities. No FIR could be lodged till filing this report.
