US educationists offer study incentives to Pakistani students

KARACHI:USEFP‘s advising team aims to provide unbiased and accurate information to all students in Pakistan considering higher education in the USA colleges and universities wanting information about Pakistan Higher Education.

This was stated by Educational Advisor, USFEP Syed Fraz Husain while addressing an informal session held with the students of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi (MAJU) during a delegation of six prominent universities of USA educationists visit to the University. The US educationists delegation comprised Director of Students Recruitment, University of Texas, Lin Larson, Director of International Admissions, Oklahoma City University, Aaron Wheelbarger, Executive Director, Saint Louis University, Tim Hercules, Assistant Director, Marketing and Recruitment, Marshal University, Vince Milam, Executive Director.

The University of Alabama, David Hofmann and Ludmi Hearth of University of Houston, Victoria. Director of students Recruitment, University of Texas, Lin Larson offered MAJU students a variety of educational exchange programs, including the prestigious flagship of US Department of State-Fulbright Program. It is mentioned here that The Fulbright Program in Pakistan is currently one of the largest program in the world.

Lin Larson said: “The students that at present 4500 universities and 400 international schools are functional in USA where Pakistani students may join in our Master’s and PhD programs. She said there are a lot of opportunities for Pakistanis to take benefits of doing their PhD in USA because we encourage research activities in our educational institutions.”

He said that every university in the US provides scholarships to foreign students as per their policy and programs. US educationists asked the students that for completing their higher education program, they may easily take admissions in Business Management, Computing, Engineering, Healthcare, Biotechnology, Public Health and Architecture programs. Later on President, MAJU Prof. Dr. Zubair Shaikh thanked US educationists delegation for their visit and providing useful information for studying in United Sates of America.
