ISLAMABAD: Acting U.S. Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan has urged Pakistan and India to avoid further military action.
In a statement issued by the Pentagon, he said that he had spoken with senior U.S. military officials about the situation.
The statement said Acting Secretary Shanahan’s focus is on de-escalating tensions and urging both of the nations to avoid further military action.
