We like to resume ties with US with dignity

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf Member National Assembly Nusrat Wahid said on Tuesday that Pakistan had rendered great sacrifices to eliminate terrorism.

In order to maintain stability and peace in the region, Pakistan has utilized the funds from its own resources. The cancellation of the US$300 million was a coalition support fund and not an aid.

“We like to restart our relations with the United states with dignity and honor. Total elimination of terrorism from the region is Pakistan’s priority. The US Secretary of State is visiting Pakistan and we will listen to his views and put up our views and perception accordingly.

She further said that the coalition support fund had already been stopped during the past government. “Pakistan is carrying out action against the terrorists without any discrimination, in which the Pakistan Army and the civilian sector has given great sacrifices.” Nusrat further said that her government would maintain integrated policy to keep peace and stability in the region. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan expects peace and stability throughout world including Pakistan.
