KHAIRPUR:A 45-year-old woman was axed to death by his husband over a petty issue near Choundiko town on Sunday.
According to the local police, accused Allah Bux Katohar attacked his wife Khanzadi
Katohar with an axe at his house in village Methari near Chondiko in Khairpur district. As a result, she suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.
The police shifted the body to the Choundiko hospital for a postmortem and later handed over to the heirs. The cause behind the murder was stated to be a petty issue.
The police have registered the murder case against the accused but could not arrest him till filing this report.
