10 Criminals Apprehended, Stolen Cattle and Weapons Recovered

Authorities in the federal capital informed today that they have apprehended 10 outlaws, leading to the recovery of stolen livestock, a vehicle used in criminal activities, and various illicit weapons with ammunition, as part of an intensified campaign against lawlessness.

Teams from Bani Gala, Kohsar, Sihala, and Shehzad Town police stations specifically targeted and arrested five individuals suspected of cattle rustling and unlawful arms possession. These operations resulted in the retrieval of the stolen animals, a getaway vehicle, and various firearms complete with ammunition. Cases have been registered against these suspects, and further investigations are currently underway.

Separately, during a dedicated drive aimed at locating and arresting proclaimed offenders and absconders, additional police units successfully detained a further five criminals, bringing the total number of arrests to ten.

This comprehensive effort aligns with the explicit directives issued by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has called for an assertive stance against illicit activities and offenders to ensure security and order within the capital territory.

Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza reiterated the force”s unwavering dedication to safeguarding residents and their possessions. He affirmed that no group would be permitted to undermine public peace, highlighting that maintaining serenity and citizen protection remains the paramount concern for law enforcement.

The public is encouraged to assist these efforts by promptly reporting any suspicious occurrences to their local police station or by dialling the emergency helpline, Pucar-15. This collaborative approach between law enforcement and the community is vital for eradicating crime from society.
