10 killed, 34 injured in IOK road accidents

Srinagar, March 02, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, at least 10 persons including two women were killed and 34 others injured in three road mishaps in the territory. Six persons were killed and 31 others injured when a Srinagar-bound bus skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Chandeh village near Surinsar in Udhampur district. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Iqbal Barkat, Manzoor Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed Asiya Bashir, Javed Ahmad and Ghulam Ahmad Mir.

Three more people, Ghulam Hassan, Baby Jaan and Jaffer Hussain Lone were killed and as many were injured after a vehicle met with an accident in Dadpeth area of Kishtwar district. A driver, Gurdev Singh, a resident of Jammu, was killed in a head-on collision between two trucks near Ramban on Srinagar-Jammu Highway.
