SHIKARPUR: Ten more local people were tested positive for coronavirus in Shikarpur on Sunday.
The samples 61 local people were sent for the virus test out which 10 were diagnosed as COVID-19 positive. They include six females and four males. A total of 100 coronavirus cases have emerged in Shikarpur since the outbreak of the viral disease that includes 13 Tableeghi Jamaat members and 87 local people.
The Tableeghi Jamaat ‘s coronavirus-infected persons have been kept at Quarantine Centre in Sukkur Labour Colony while seven local affected patients have been isolated at Quarantine Centre in Shikarpur Army Public School hostel while rest have been sent to home isolation. Sindh Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh visited the Quarantined Centre Shikarpur and inspected the accommodation services, food facility, and cleanliness.
