Authorities have taken eleven individuals into custody as part of a significant security operation across the federal capital, confiscating illegal weapons, ammunition, and contraband liquor.

According to a police report today, the initiative, aimed at curbing criminal activity, saw police teams from the Tarnol and Kohsar precincts detain four suspects. A search of their possessions yielded 15 bottles of liquor, two pistols with ammunition, and two daggers.

Formal cases have been registered against the four nabbed individuals, and further investigations into the matter are currently in progress, according to police sources. In a separate but related campaign targeting fugitives, law enforcement officials also successfully arrested seven proclaimed offenders and absconders.

SSP Operations Islamabad affirmed that the police force is persistently working to safeguard the lives and property of residents. “No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city,” he stated, emphasizing that the well-being of the community remains the foremost priority for the Islamabad Police.
