UMERKOT:On the order of a local court, 14 bonded laborers were got freed from a private jail of landlord near Ghulam Nabi Shah locality near here on Monday.
A plea was filed in the local court some time back in which it was complained that 14 bonded laborers had been kept in the private jail near Ghulam Nabi Shah locality in Umerkot district.
The court ordered the police to raid the private jail and recover all the bonded laborers safely. The police carried out a raid on the jail and got freed 14 bonded laborers. They were presented before the court which directed them to pass life free and ordered police to take action if any one harasses them again.
