SHIKARPUR:Sixteen more coronavirus cases were detected during the last 24 hours in district Shikarpur, a local health department report said Thursday.
According to the report, 172 samples were collected for the test out of which 16 persons were diagnosed as corona positive. The newly-infected people have been sent on home isolation.
The report said that 432 patients had recovered from the virus disease while there were 164 active cases by today. The corona cases toll in the district has reached 629 while 11 people have died of the virus disease since its outbreak in February 2020.
