Police recover two kidnappers from Shikarpur’s katcha area

LARKANA:On the directives of Deputy Inspector General of Police DIGP) Larkana Range, Irfan Ali Baloch, a police team conducted a search operation in the riverine area of Shikarpur district and recovered two captives from the clutches of dacoits. Both the kidnapped persons were abducted six days ago and were recovered from Bachal Bhayo and Kot Shaho areas of the district today.

One of the captives includes Ibrar, son of a journalist Gulzar Sethar, and another his nephew Arif Sethar. The DIGP had taken serious notice of the kidnapping and had directed his subordinates to recover the two boys without loss of further time or face the music.

The police received information that bandits were hiding in these two riverine villages along with the kidnapped youth. Police further claimed to have arrested a few offenders of law but no exact number was informed to media persons as to how many of them were arrested.

DIGP Baloch further directed all the SSPs of the Larkana Division to continue operation against dacoits and criminals till positive results are achieved and crime is curbed. He said that targeted operations must also be carried out vigorously and dacoits are brought to justice so that their criminal activities in the riverine areas could be eliminated with iron hands of the law. He congratulated Shikarpur police for successfully recovering the two youth.
