Two suspected robbers were taken into custody, one of whom was injured, following an encounter with Iqbal Market police in the Orangi Town Sector 11 ½ area.
The incident today involved an exchange of fire between police personnel and the alleged suspects, leading to the arrest of both individuals.
The Iqbal Market Police Station has identified the arrested individuals as Fazal Muhammad son of Tabistan, who was injured during the shootout, and Shaukat Khan son of Syed Ali.
During the operation, authorities recovered a pistol with ammunition, a stolen mobile phone, some cash, and a motorcycle from the suspects’ possession.
The injured suspect, Fazal Muhammad, has been moved to a medical facility for treatment. A formal investigation into the matter has been launched to gather further details.
