LARKANA:As many as 20 Chief Officers, Chief Municipal Officers and Town Officers of several municipal committees, town committees and District Councils have been placed under suspension for defying government orders to return and misusing government vehicles taken back from ex-elected representatives.
In this connection a notification issued by the Local Government Department said that during suspension their headquarter shall be Sindh Local Government Board. The arrangement to draw salary shall remain unchanged and above shall be treated as a charge sheet, it further added.
They suspended officers include Iqbal Imtiaz Phulpoto of Jacobabad, Hafiz Mushtaque Ali Korejo of Naundero, Shafqat Ali of Mirpur Buriro, Syed Mohibullah Shah of Lakhi, Shakeel Soomro of Garhi Yasin, Banho Khan Mahar of Khan Garh, Razzak Shaikh of Moro, Nadeem Solangi of Bhiria, Salman Lund of Mirpur Mathelo and others.
