LARKANA:A constable Muhammad Rafique Brohi was martyred within the limits of Bakrani police station near Sarya Laro here on Monday.
Qatar Kango PRO to the SSP said that three criminals tried to snatch a chingchi 3-wheel rickshaw and on the cries of the owner Rafique reached and tried to prevent the criminals but they opened fire in which he was martyred.
SSP Masood Bangash rushed to the spot after hearing the news and the police was chasing the criminals till filing of this report but neither any arrest was made nor any case was registered. DIGP Larkana Nasir Aftab Pathan also took notice of the issue and inquired about details of the unfortunate incident from the SSP.
Body of Rafique Brohi was shifted to Dokri hospital for fulfilling legal formalities. Phone call made to the SSP Masood Bangash to have further details was disconnected. PRO Kango said that Janaza Nimaz timings will be held and then FIR will be registered.
