BJP youth leader booked for rioting, attempt to murder

Srinagar, July 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):An FIR has been filed against district president of BJP’s Yuva Morcha, Deepak Dulhera, along with 21 named and 40 unnamed people for attempt to murder, rioting, disturbing peace and several other serious sections. They have been accused of creating ruckus in the Secunderabad Kotwali area of Bulandshehar over construction of a roadside nullah.

The accused is said to have assaulted an elderly and his kin and as the video of the act went viral, police filed an FIR but no arrest has been made in the matter so far. According to the FIR, the complainant, Krishnapal, has alleged that Dulhera had entered his house along with a mob and thrashed his family over a post poll dispute. The complainant alleged that the accused misbehaved with his daughter and wife as well, and used derogatory language.

Indian troops launch CASO in Jammu’s Akhnoor sector

Jammu, July 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian troops have launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Jammu’s Akhnoor sector. The troops launched the CASO after an unidentified person was spotted by locals on Thursday. The operation was going on till last reports came in.

Panther’s Party activists protest against authorities’ anti-people policies in Jammu

Jammu, July 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Panthers Party activists in a protest demonstration in Srinagar have expressed concern over the anti-people policies of the authorities. Spearheaded by Harsh Dev Singh, JKNPP Chairman, and other leaders, the activists staged vociferous protest demonstration at Exhibition Ground Jammu against the rise in prices of petrol, diesel and gas besides other essential commodities during the last few years of the BJP regime. They also torched an effigy of the BJP government to express their resentment over the current inflation trends of fuel and gas in the country.

They took out a procession from Press Club and started march towards the Civil Secretariat but were restrained by a huge contingent of Indian forces’ personnel enroute resulting in minor scuffles with the cops. The protestors raised slogans against price rise and the BJP government. Speaking to media, Harsh Dev Singh said that inflation had become a benchmark of the BJP’s governance and looting people by burning holes in their pockets has become synonymous with Saffron party. Others who spoke on the occasion included Rajesh Padgotra, Gagan Pratap Singh and Khajoor Singh.
