ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Sunday that establishment of damage and loss fund for compensation of climate damage a major win for Pakistan and the entire developing world. MDCAT was out of syllabus, students tell governor

KARACHI: A delegation of students who took the MDCAT test met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House. On the occasion, Rehan Hashmi and Abu Bakr were also present. The students complained that the MDCAT test was taken outside the syllabus. Governor Sindh said that the students have drawn his attention to an important issue and in this regard the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and other relevant institutions will be contacted. Tessori said that steps will be taken to resolve this problem in the interest of the students.

PSTs appointed seven months ago still without salaries

LARKANA: Over 1400 Primary School Teachers (PSTs), BPS-14, recruited on merit in 1st batch after IBA Sukkur test are still without monthly salaries despite passage of seven long months due to which their families are starving, PPI learnt Sunday. These PSTs were appointed by the Deputy Director (Admin), Primary School Education Department, Larkana Region, on 28th March 2022 in entire Larkana district's four taluka which also include males, females, disables and minority quota people. Nadir Magsi wins Thal jeep rally

Muzaffargarh: Nadir Khan Magsi won the race in the seventh ‘Thal Desert Jeep Rally’ that ended here on Sunday in the desert of districts Muzaffargarh and Layyah. Asif Fazal secured the second position and Muhammad Jafar Magsi stood third in the race that kicked off on Saturday. Nadir Magsi achieved the target in 2 hours 10 minutes and 15 seconds, while Asif Fazal Chaudhry took 2 hours 12 minutes, and 32 seconds to reach the finishing point and Jafar Magsi came third in 2 hours 50 minutes and 16 seconds. Husband, wife killed in car-trailer crash near Nooriabad

HYDERABAD: A husband and wife were killed while seven others were injured when a car collided with a trailer near Nooriabad on Sunday. According to police, a speeding car collided with a trailer on M9 Motorway near Nooriabad. As a result, a man and his wife died while seven others were injured, some of them seriously. According to rescue officials, the deceased were husband and wife, adding that the injured had been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the accident on the M9 Motorway. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.

Govt stuck in political-economic crisis: Sh Rashid

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid on Sunday said that the government is stuck in a political, economic and deployment crisis. In a statement on Twitter, Mr Sheikh stated that the countdown has begun for the government, and this week is decisive. Further explaining the perplexed situation of the incumbent government, he added that, “It’s unaware of earthly realities and is suspended in the air, neither its hands touching the sky nor its feet touching the earth.” According to the AML Chief the rulers are in denial of the reality that things are getting out of their control and the government is stuck in a chaotic situation.
