21 new cases reported in Balochistan

Quetta:Provincial spokesman Liaquat Shahwani here Tuesday said that 21 more cases of Covid-19 have been detected in the province, soaring the number of cases to 486.

Giving briefing to media here on Tuesday, provincial spokesman said only in Quetta city 268 local transmission cases have been reported so far. He said lockdown has been extended till May 5 across the province due to the spread of covid-19. He said if people did not follow SOPs of government or didn’t adhere to Section 144, they would be shifted to Quarantine centers.

Relief granted to different sectors would be withdrawn if people didn’t cooperate, said Liaquat Shahwani, adding that one PSR machine is received from Federal Government while another PSR machine would be procured by the Provincial Government. He added now 800 tests were being conducted daily which would be increased to three thousand.
