22-year-old alleged robber injured during police encounter

A 22-year-old robbery suspect was injured on Saturday after an encounter with law enforcement officials in the Surjani Town area.

According to information released by the Edhi Trust, the encounter took place near Kaneez Fatima Society.

After the incident, the injured person was immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital via an Edhi ambulance for medical attention.

Authorities have identified the injured person as Tahir son of Ahmed Ali.

The matter falls within the jurisdiction of the Surjani police station, which is investigating it.
