Shah Latif Town police arrested three suspected dacoits on Monday after a shootout, two of whom are injured.
The armed encounter occurred within the limits of the Shah Latif Town police station, culminating in the arrest of the three individuals after an exchange of fire.
The detained individuals have been identified in the police report as Hijrat and Shah Mir, both of whom were injured in the incident, and the third suspect is named Qurban.
During the operation, authorities recovered two pistols with ammunition, six allegedly snatched mobile phones, an unspecified amount of cash, and a motorcycle from the suspects’ possession.
Both injured individuals have been moved to a hospital for medical treatment. Shah Latif police have initiated further investigation into the matter.
