Quetta: Thirty six more cases of covid-19 emerged in Balochistan, raising the number of affected persons to 1172.
Spokesperson of provincial government Liaquat Shahwani said, “Today thirty six local persons have been confirmed to be infected with covid-19 and out of them thirty five belong to Quetta and one person came from Ziarat”.
According to the authorities of provincial health department, twenty-year old person from District Pishin died while fighting against covid-19 at Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital Quetta.
Death toll due to covid-19 has reached to seventeen in the province while 183 persons have so far been recovered.
