Punjab Police have achieved significant successes across the province during ongoing operations against illegal activities. 37 individuals were arrested and a large quantity of drugs seized in crackdowns against drug smuggling.
To ensure public safety, police conducted 335 search operations, interrogated 10,406 individuals, and detained 22 suspects.
In operations against electricity theft, which harms national resources, 46 individuals were arrested and 123 cases were registered.
Taking action against dangerous kite flying, 4 individuals were arrested and legal proceedings initiated.
In operations against traffic violations, 28,909 driving permits were issued, while 42,404 traffic challans were issued, resulting in the collection of 22 million rupees in fines.
21 services were provided through citizen service centers, benefiting 13,454 individuals. All these measures are part of the Chief Minister’s “Safe Punjab” program, which aims to improve law and order across the province.
