As a proactive measure to ensure the safety of worshippers, today Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Lahore, Faisal Kamran conducted a comprehensive review of security measures at various churches across the city.
During his visit, DIG Kamran assessed the presence and preparedness of police personnel deployed for the protection of Sunday worship gatherings. He instructed officers to remain highly vigilant and keep a close watch on any suspicious movements.
DIG Kamran also engaged in discussions with leaders of the Christian community, assuring them of comprehensive protection for their places of worship. He reiterated that the safety of minority groups and their religious sites is a top priority for law enforcement agencies.
“The protection of minorities and their places of worship is our top priority,” he emphasized. “Officers on duty must remain extremely alert and closely monitor any suspicious activity.”
