37th Chief of Air Staff Open Golf Championship tees off at Airmen Golf Course

Karachi, February 14, 2018 (PPI-OT): 37th CAS Open Golf championship, 2018 has started with leading golfers in action at Airmen Golf Course and Recreational Park, PAF Base Korangi Creek. The Championship will be played for five days and 18 holes will be played each day. Air Commodore Ibrahim Asad, Base Commander PAF Base Korangi Creek, inaugurated the Championship.

Around 350 golfers, including 76 Professionals are participating in the championship from all over the country for Rs 8 Million prize purse. The players would also be vying for 02 brand new cars, (01 Toyota Corolla, 01 Suzuki Swift) which have been put on offer for the players who score Hole-in one. Matches in the category of Professionals, Senior / Junior Professionals, Amateurs, Airmen Golf Course Members, Ladies, Veterans and Invitees will also be played during the championship. Ace golfer Muhammad Munir will be defending his crown in this prestigious event in Pakistan Golf circuit.
