7 out of 10 miners killed in Mach came from Afghanistan

QUETTA:Afghan Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that seven out of 10 coal miners killed in the terrorist act in Mach came from Afghanistan.

A statement issued by the Afghan Foreign Ministry condemned terrorist act of Mach and extended condolences to the families of coal miners. Afghan Foreign Ministry asked Afghan Embassy in Islamabad and Consulate General Quetta to extend all kind of cooperation to the heirs of victims for sending bodies of victims to Afghanistan.

The Afghan Foreign Ministry said that seven out of 10 coal miners killed in the terrorist act of Mach belonged to Afghanistan. It is pertinent to mention that Hafiz Abdul Basit, Additional Secretary (Home), Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan had also confirmed that seven victims of Mach incident were Afghan citizens.
