According to Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, a high alert remains in effect in Sindh due to exceptionally high water levels persisting in the province’s rivers, and thousands of residents are being relocated. Memon confirmed that the provincial administration is closely monitoring the flood situation, mobilizing all relevant departments. The Sindh administration, district officials, and relief organizations have adopted a coordinated strategy, prioritizing public safety and well-being and utilizing all available resources.

Inflow and outflow at Panjnad Headworks are both 452,930 cusecs. In the past day, 7,724 individuals were moved from low-lying areas to safer locations, bringing the total number of people relocated from flood-affected areas to 141,611. Medical teams at 159 permanent and mobile medical facilities established by the Sindh administration treated 4,894 patients in the past 24 hours. The total number of individuals who have received medical assistance at these facilities has now reached 50,040.

During the same 24-hour period, 8,577 livestock were moved to safe places, raising the total number of livestock relocated as a precautionary measure to 388,940. Veterinary teams vaccinated and treated 36,881 animals, taking the total number of livestock receiving such care to 974,825.

Major dams are near or at full capacity, with Tarbela Dam at 100% (1550.00 feet) and Mangla Dam at 90% (1232.95 feet). Khanpur (1980.15 feet), Rawal (1750.90 feet), and Simly (2314.90 feet) dams also have high water levels.

Flood levels are extremely high at Ganda Singh Wala and Sidhnai, very high at Panjnad, and high at Trimmu, Balloki, Sulemanki, and Mailsi Siphon. Moderate flooding is being witnessed at Ravi Siphon, Shahdara, Islam, Guddu, and Sukkur barrages, while Kotri Barrage has low flood levels.

Inflow and outflow at Trimmu and Panjnad barrages are 438,097 and 452,930 cusecs, respectively. Guddu Barrage has an inflow of 443,494 cusecs and an outflow of 434,294 cusecs, while Sukkur recorded an inflow of 374,800 cusecs and an outflow of 359,050 cusecs. Kotri Barrage has an inflow of 233,788 cusecs and an outflow of 231,763 cusecs.
