Grenade attack on JI leader’s house in Peshawar injured three

PESHAWAR: Three persons, including two kids, were injured in a hand grenade attack on the house of a Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader in Peshawar on Thursday.

According to police, the house of JI district leader Haji Niaz Muhammad was targeted with hand grenade in Badaber area of Peshawar. As a result, three persons were injured. A case was registered against unidentified suspects at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station. Further investigations were underway.
