Islamabad, August 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, who is also heading the Flood Relief Committee, has directed all stakeholders to expedite the flood relief assistance without any delay. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Thursday to review the latest flood situation in the country, the Minister directed the concerned stakeholders to constitute a team of government doctors to provide medical treatment to the flood-affected people.
He expressed his gratitude to All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises’ Association which donated 15.5 million rupees to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.
The Minister said China is an all-weather friend of Pakistan which has always stood by it in every emergency, calamity or crisis situation and this donation testifies the bond between the two countries. Ahsan Iqbal said the Ministry of Commerce should mobilize all the chambers of commerce in the country to collect funds for the relief of affected people.
