KARACHI: Two Indonesian planes carrying relief goods for flood-affected people of Pakistan landed at Karachi Airport on Tuesday.
Indonesia also joined hands with other countries in global efforts to help the flood-stricken people and this was the first shipment. Two flights loaded with relief goods arrived Karachi where Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani and Sajid Jokhio received them. Indonesian Ambassador and Consul General were also present there.
Similarly, the relief flights were also welcomed by the Director General (DG) of MOFA, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) representative and Pak Army officers. A spokesperson of Pakistan foreign office thanked Indonesia while acknowledging the efforts of the brotherly country in such testing times.
