Wahab sees three-half years long horror film ending

LAHORE: Administrator Karachi, Sindh governments Spokesman Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Friday said that three and a half years long horror film is coming to an end and the time to come will be better for the people.

 

“Talks with MQM have been held in the past and are still going on, we talk to everyone as we are not like Imran Khan who will sit in a room after coming to power, the Administrator expressed these views while inaugurating the Sartyoon Sang Crafts Exhibition at a shopping mall here in Clifton. The purpose of this exhibition is to highlight the culture and civilization of Sindh and to promote domestic products.

 

The Administrator Karachi said that the Speaker National Assembly should prove that he stands by the Constitution by his actions. “There should be an immediate voting in the National Assembly on no trust motion. The one with the highest number of members will succeed,” he added.

 

He said that Asif Ali Zardari has political skills and he had always played a positive role in the politics of Pakistan. “Asif Ali Zardari appointed female speaker, gave development package to Balochistan, made CPEC plan and passed the 18th constitutional amendment,” said the Administrator.

 

“People with political insight make a difference when they work,” he said. He said that under the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) program in 2008, the government of Sindh, in line with the vision of Benazir Bhutto gave training to the women and encouraged household products.

 

The housewives who are making clothes, scarves and jewellery are making it under the SRSO program. Barrister Murtaza Wahab urged the citizens to come and empower these skilled women by purchasing these items.

 

“The items that are kept here today are the skills of our mothers and sisters. I also use these items and citizens are also requested to give priority to the use of these items. He said that those who go to other countries and buy goods there should buy their own domestic products so that their own city, province and the country would be stronger.

 

The Administrator Karachi said that various development schemes are undergoing in Karachi. He said that Sports Complex is under construction at Kakri Ground while Chakiwara Road is being constructed. Many other uplift works including road construction are underway.

 

Responding to questions from media persons, he said that no formal agreement has been reached between the Sindh government. But people are now considering the MQM with the joint opposition. “Everything will come out in the next few days Now is the time (for PTI) to go,” he said.
