LAHORE: At least six children died when roof of their house collapsed on them in Bajaur district early Tuesday.
Another six persons including a woman and children were injured in the incident which occurred near Khar Eidgah Masjid when the roof of the room the victims were sleeping in fell on them with a bang.
The Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the site and pulled out the injured from under the rubble and rushed them to Khar District Headquarters Hospital for emergency treatment.
Rescue 1122 Media Coordinator Bajaur told newsmen that their team backed by ambulances and disaster vehicle wasted no time in responding as soon as they received the information.
