KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has said that Pakistan Super League (PSL) has become an international brand and it has helped in convincing foreign teams to tour Pakistan.
This he said while talking with Chairman Management Committee of PCB Mr. Najam Sethi and other office bearers, during a reception hosted by him in their honour at Governor House. Measures to further improve PSL, search of new talent, more tours of foreign teams, facilities at cricket grounds and other matters of mutual interests were also discussed on the occasion.
Governor Sindh said that PSL is getting popular by every passing day as exciting matches are being held which are entertaining cricket lovers. Whoever wins the 8th edition of PSL, the actual victory would be of Pakistan and its cricket, he observed.
He said that Karachi is an important centre of cricket and Karachiites are in cricket fever during PSL matches. There is no issue of security for foreign players and fool proof arrangements are made in this regard, he opined. Najam Sethi said that Governor Sindh interest in promotion of cricket in commendable Government is fully supporting PCB in its initiatives, he added.
