A delegation of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD), led by its Chairman Muhammad Hassan Bakhshi, met with Sindh’s Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar.
According to a statement issued from Sindh Home ministry today, during the meeting, various issues including the security situation, business activities, and challenges faced by builders were discussed.
Minister Lanjar emphasized that the police are highly committed and active in ensuring security in industrial and commercial zones and business centers. He acknowledged the crucial role of the business community in economic and social development, stating that they are the backbone of the economy.
He urged the business community to support the police and other law enforcement agencies in combating crime. He also highlighted the importance of building strong and sustainable relations between the police and the business community, which he termed as a vital need of the time.
Minister Lanjar directed district SSPs to take serious steps to address the issues and concerns of the business community.
The delegation expressed satisfaction, noting that the security situation has improved compared to before. They members appreciated the police’s successful actions in maintaining law and order and combating crime, and assured full support to the police from the business community.
