Assistant Commissioner Sukkur City, Sobia Falak Rao, conducted an extensive field visit to New Goth on Wednesday to monitor the ongoing polio vaccination campaign.
She visited households, ensuring that children received polio drops and their fingers were marked on the spot. The Assistant Commissioner also checked the attendance of polio field teams and carried out a detailed review of their performance.
She instructed the teams to remain active in the field, ensure every child is vaccinated, and submit daily progress reports to the district administration.
During the visit, Ms Rao inspected the New Goth Dispensary and interacted with the staff to discuss polio cases and review related reports. Her proactive involvement is being lauded as a significant step towards ensuring the success of the polio eradication campaign in the region.
