Karachi police have achieved significant success in operations against criminal elements. Police encountered robbers in 20 separate incidents across various districts of the city, resulting in the deaths of three suspects and injuries to 19 others. A total of 33 individuals, including the injured suspects, were arrested. 26 illegal weapons and eight motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the accused.
Over 872 individuals were detained during week-long operations in the Eastern, Western, and Southern zones of Karachi.
In an anti-drug operation, 79 kilograms and 668 grams of hashish, crystal meth, and heroin, worth millions of rupees, were seized. Some of these drugs were recovered during encounters with suspects.
Over 112 illegal weapons and ammunition, believed to be used in robberies and other crimes, were also confiscated during the operation. These weapons were recovered from the arrested suspects.
Furthermore, Karachi police also recovered 38 stolen motorcycles and one large vehicle from various locations.
Karachi police expressed their commitment to continuing these operations to eliminate crime, establish peace and order, and ensure public safety.
