The Islamabad Police are committed to promptly addressing concerns of both their personnel and the community through equitable and efficient resolutions. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, convened an “open court” at the Central Police Office, implementing the “Open Door Policy.” During the proceedings, the IGP listened to grievances from officers and citizens, issuing immediate directives for their resolution.
‘Expeditious and impartial resolution of public concerns is paramount. I maintain an open-door policy, and anyone with police-related problems is welcome to attend these open courts,’ IGP Rizvi stated. He mandated that all applications be processed within the stipulated time and comprehensive reports submitted to the Central Police Office.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, also conducted a similar open court, hearing public complaints and ordering swift action. He urged individuals to register their grievances via the ‘IGP Complaint Cell 1715,’ reinforcing the force’s dedication to public engagement and grievance redressal.
The Islamabad Police are continuously implementing measures to ensure accessibility and effective resolution of issues for both its members and the public.
