Inspector General of Police Punjab (IGP) Dr. Usman Anwar has commended officers and personnel for their exceptional performance in combating serious crimes and assisting flood victims. At a ceremony held in the presence of senior officials, including Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, awards were distributed to members of six police units hailing from Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Jhelum, and Muzaffargarh.
Thirty law enforcement professionals received cash prizes and certificates of appreciation for successful operations against criminals. The IGP particularly lauded a team from Jhelum for their efforts in relocating flood-displaced people to safe areas. Officers who seized large quantities of illegal drugs were also recognized.
Dr. Anwar praised the dedication and bravery displayed by these units and urged them to continue performing their duties with vigilance and diligence.
